biked 28 miles on beet juice

Biked this morning in experimental mode. I'm trying to figure out if beet juice is as effective as the studies claim. I ate one sliced beet and sipped down a swallow or two of juice and took off. After 30 minutes I ate another one and sipped a bit more juice. I felt something but more trial is required and I'm just the guinea pig to give it a go.

An 11 miler early this morning felt really good. Got 32 miles in this week plus a 30 mile bike ride and 2 weight work-outs. The biking over the past 5 weeks has given my fitness a beneficial kick right where it counts.

For the day/for the week/for the year. Things are working properly considering this hot weather. Running,biking,lifting. Basic work.Staying in good shape. Got to get a competition schedule formulated so I can start specific training at the right time.
