Nice start to the 12 miler this morning despite an attempt from old man Winter to bust up Springs homecoming parade. Felt loose and smooth for the most part but had some rough patches in the later stages. Don't have any racing plans in the near future so my motivation to train is low. Things will probably pick up once the weather is more consistently warm.

Warm weather!!

A pleasant trip to Kentucky and beyond altered my routine so I got very little running in this week. Managed to slug through a warm weather (70-75 degrees) 10 miler this morning. It seems as though Spring truly has sprung. Stocking caps and gloves to the back of the drawer!

Ran a wind-driven 5k on Saturday. slow time but fun. 4th overall. 3 college boys and me...... then a long wait for the next group of finishers. if a record or $ was on the line I probably could have made a serious run for 3rd place,but that wasn't the case so I'll never know.
Solid week.....6 on Monday.....10 on Wednesday...6 on Thursday.....race on Saturday...14 today. probably going to run a 5k next saturday before we take off for kentucky
