10 milers

Managed to run pretty solid.
It's my 2nd ten miler in 4 days.
My idea is to get back to my old tried and true 10 mile base work-outs.
It takes time and dedication.
I want to be running on a steady diet of deca-runs by the end of the winter.
Monday, Wednesday Friday Sunday.
10 steady, 10 slow,10 negative splits,10 fartlek.
It will either get me back or be the end of me.

Big day of running

Big day of running. The Tulsa Run, Regional Cross Country and a 10 miler for me!
Amy qualified for State(18th) along with Aubrey(19th) and Tabie(12th) for the girls and my boys team qualified by finishing 4th. I am genuinely proud of the entire group for the effort they put into the race.

3 x 8

My last 3 runs have been 8 milers. Slowly getting a return of familiar thoughts, feelings. Looking back 10 years ago I must say I was one motivated runner. Success breeds success in the world of competition.I would love to get some of that awesome- on -top- of- the- world mojo again. Maybe I will.

Glad to be running

A five miler today following a 25 mile week. Taking a methodical approach. Want to be strong by the new year. No real reason to rush things.
