a 28:06 8k for a 54 year old man was good enough to break the single age recoed by 1 minute and 3 seconds. former record holder steve blanchard graciously congratulated me (as he has done in the past when i broke his records.) He had held that particular record since the mid eighties.
not great, but big improvement over previous efforts this year.
