MARCH MELTDOWN 5K
I jumped in the water and found I'm not Johnny Weismiller nor am I a rock. Ran my first race back from injury. Finished 6th over-all in the 5k race with a 17:19 clocking.
Good thru 2000 meters then struggled home.
Ran 52 miles this week. Been over a year since I've logged that many miles in a weeks time.
Mike Kelley ran a 17:08 in a race in Stillwater.
I'm optimistic that I will work my way through this dip in performance and be a dominant runner before the year is out.
Goal : 16:4o's before I turn 53

Well I've gone and gotten myself sick. I guess you could call it bronchitis. I'm going to wait for some warmer air before I do any running. I hate it because I had just gotten to another level of fitness.
